Picco is looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager!Picco stands for pizza & ice cream company. We are a busy, full-service restaurant in the South End of Boston that features “Best of Boston” winning pizza, handmade pasta, rotating craft beer, interesting wines, Latin inspired dishes and house-made ice cream. We have been part of the neighborhood for 20 years with no intention of stopping now. Loyal customer support and the resilience of our small crew has allowed us to continue what we do. As we start a new chapter in expansion, we are looking for someone to join our Boston team to continue to help us grow. We value friendliness, a strong work ethic and enthusiasm.We are looking for serious candidates. If you think you will be a good fit or would like to hear more about the position please contact us immediately!Duties include but are not limited to: Staff Management (hiring, training, maintaining and supervising line cooks, prep cooks & dishwashers) Maintaining food quality, consistency and following all sanitation & safety regulations Inventory & cost control Daily kitchen operations (must be able to perform all the duties of each station) Managing a schedule Maintaining all kitchen equipment Willing to learn and grow with the company and must possess strong communication skills
